Dear All,

We are pleased to offer the latest vintage of our estate grown, single vineyard , Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the highly regarded 2015 vintage. Whilst it is now widely know how good the 2015 growing season was in Geelong and several other regions, we were very pleased to see the Jessica sauvignon received 95 points in the 2017 edition and the Halliday Wine Companion, and the 2015 Peta’s Pinot Noir awarded two gold medals in November at the both the Victorian and National Wine Shows.  So...come and see us and taste our new releases or order on line.

Reviews

OAKDENE JESSICA SINGLE VINEYARD BELLARINE PENINSULA SUVIGNON 2015 -  95 Points

“Barrel-fermented, and hasn’t it worked a treat. This is a wine that seems entirely sure of its self. Ripped with flavour, fruit and oak; textural; lengthy. Importantly it remains fresh and fruit-driven as you swallow; the drive of fruit has not been sedated.”

OAKDENE BELLARINE PENINSULA PINOT NOIR 2015 -  90 Points

“Open-fermented in small pots with punch down, matured in new and used French barriques for 11 months. Pinot noir is becoming highly competitive when this strongly varietal wine is blown out of the water by wines sub-$20. It has excellent length and considerable complexity.”

OAKDENE BELLARINE PENINSULA SHIRAZ 2015 - 91 Points

“Made from vines planted in 2000. 503 dozen produced. Nice wine. Nice value. Pepper and black cherry flavours are served in satiny form and with an extra dose of clovey spice. It gets up to speed quickly and maintains the attraction all the way through to the finish. There’s a gently chocolatey character here but it plays third fiddle to the fruit and peppers. You’re on a good thing here.”

OAKDENE BELLARINE PENINSULA CHARDONNAY 2015 - 94 Points

"Another nice little review for our Blue Label wines in the latest Halliday Magazine! The 2015 Oakdene Bellarine Peninsula Chardonnay - 94 POINTS! This is what they said: 'Destemmed and pressed direct to French barriques for fermentation with cultured yeast, matured for 10 months. Fermentation on full solids has resulted in a doubtless deliberate edge of funky complexity. The palate is bright, fresh and direct, with white peach to the fore, citrussy acidity lengthening the finish."
