From a diverse red fruit crop, we are able to offer 3 gorgeous red blends that change year on year, to reflect the best quality fruit coming from the vineyards.
From our Bordeaux style Cabernets, to the Rose and newly released Field Blend, each one has been created from carefully selected parcels to create a perfectly balanced wine.

2021 Bellarine Peninsula Rose Pale salmon in colour with a lifted bouquet of red fruits, red currant, some musk, and orange rind. Intensely flavoured palate of red fruits and under-ripe plum notes, balanced by a savoury pithy backbone, and fresh acidity driving the finish. A Blend of Shiraz 63%, Cabernet Sauvignon 23%, Cabernet Franc 9%, and Merlot 5%. Fruit was whole bunch pressed into stainless steel tank, with minimal skin contact, fermented for 14 days, with lees contact post ferment, fined, filtered, and bottled, retaining fresh fruit driven characters and firm acidity. Best consumed young while expressing bright fruit driven characters. $24 bottle

2021 Bellarine Peninsula Field Blend Bright magenta in colour with a highly perfumed bouquet of red cherry, dried cranberry and spice. Light bodied and fresh, with acidity and fruit driving the palate, raspberry, soft pippy tannin, and spice to close. Shiraz (80%) was destemmed, fermented then pressed off early to tank to maintain fruit and soft tannin profile. Pinot Noir (20%) was destemmed, fermented then pressed to barrel for malolactic fermentation, matured in French oak barriques (10% new) for 8 months. Wine was blended & bottled, unfined. Enjoy now or cellar for 2 to 4 years. $24 bottle

2018 Bernard's Cabernets Inspired by the red wines of Bordeaux, this blend changes to reflect each vintage and preserve our house-style. Merlot 63%, Cabernet Franc 23% and Cabernet Sauvignon 14%. Mid ruby in colour. Complex aromas of blood plum, lilac florals, red currant, rose water and cedar oak. Mid-weighted palate dominated by juicy red and black fruit notes and a refreshing tobacco leaf edge. Balanced by a firm but fine tannin backbone and fresh acidity. Co-fermented using wild yeast and matured in new (30%) and seasoned French oak barriques for 16 months. Enjoy now with food or cellar for 5 to 12 years. $30 bottle |
