Opening in December

After an extensive building process, the new casual eatery, MrGrubb@Oakdene, is due to open in December. The cafe, hidden amongst the birch trees near the Oakdene cellar door, seats approximately 100 and also boasts an extensive outdoor dining area.

With pizzas, burgers and share plates available, MrGrubb@Oakdene offers a relaxed approach to dining, with tasty food at affordable prices and is family friendly.

Open for Lunch Every Day from 11am
Open for Dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm

Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant will still be open for those who enjoy the fine dining Oakdene experience. Stay tuned!!

Full-red purple. Highly perfumed red and dark plum notes and spicy bouquet, lifted by whole bunch characters. Medium to full bodied palate, with savoury red fruit characters, spice and delicate pepper notes. Firm but fine tannins and well integrated French oak. Balanced acidity, and a long savoury finish. 15% whole bunches, wild yeast and matured in new (30%) and seasoned French oak barriques for 16 months. Purchase Now

Despite the weather, the 13th annual Toast to the Coast Festival held at Oakdene and other local wineries was a fantastic success.  Wine tastings, exquisite food and the Sweethearts, a 25+ piece girl soul gang (the only school based band in the world playing exclusively in professional settings) kept everybody entertained over the Melbourne Cup Weekend.
