RATINGS & REVIEWS
- 95 points, 2018 Halliday Wine Companion - 47% merlot, 40% cabernet franc and 13% cabernet sauvignon, destemmed and co-fermented in small open vats with wild yeast, matured in French barriques (30% new) for 16 months. Luscious and mouthfilling, yet fresh and focused, the seeming contradiction explained by the unusual co-fermentation of the three varieties - a positive step made feasible by the normal ripening gap being compressed by the vintage, everything ripening together. Climate change - bring it on!
