Oakdene Vineyards together with the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, are offering a fantastic Australia Day event for everyone on Saturday this week!
Come along and help us raise money for the RFDS with access to their aeromedical flight simulator, an interactive experience showing us just how this amazing and truly valuable service operates.
We are offering wine tastings in the cellar door with our garden tables set up outside so you can sit in the shade and enjoy a chilled glass of Oakdene wine or a refreshing ale along with food by our friends from 2 & 1/2 Chefs.
Music will be playing and guests are welcom to stay, relax and enjoy the whole day.

WINE - All of our Oakdene wines are on tasting including our new release sparkling, Kristen Blanc de Blanc
OLIVE OIL TASTINGS - Lighthouse extra virgin olive oils on tasting so you can try them all and take home your favourites!
ENTERTAINMENT - We promise the playlist will be good, and we are dragging out some old fashioned GAMES, Chess, UNO, cards, Jenga!
We are lucky enough to have the RFDS aeromedical simulator on site too! The simulator is a life-size replica of a Flying Doctor plane. The simulator is portable and fully equipped with stretchers, communications, oxygen and ECG equipment. Designed as a training ground for RFDS doctors, nurses and pilots, it allows kids and adults to understand the environment our everyday heroes operate within.
We will be raising money on the day to contribute to the RFDS. Bring along your gold coins and enjoy the experience!

FOOD - Our friends from 2 & 1/2 Chefs are setting up out the front of cellar door and are busy thinking up a delicious Australian inspired menu for the long weekend! Lamb is included, of course and there will also be a very traditional little treat. Yum! We can't wait!
If you want to, you can still book a table for lunch in Marty @ Oakdene or hop across for a casual lunch or coffee and cake at Mr Grubb Cafe.
