The past year has flown and here at Oakdene nothing is more telling of that than the release of a new vintage. The 2018 harvest only feels like yesterday but the new season has well and truly arrived with the completion of our 2019 harvest and the arrival of cooler days ahead.
We are already moving into the release of some 2018 wines with two of our most popular labels, the Oakdene Bellarine Peninsula Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. These two wines are the perfect companion and match for this kind of weather.

2018 Oakdene Bellarine Peninsula Chardonnay Bright straw in colour. Complex bouquet of stone fruit, pear and citrus notes. Bright and juicy mid palate, displaying lemon and white peach notes. Subtle barrel ferment characters, assisting mouthfeel and texture leading to refreshing acidity and flavour driving to the finish. Fermented in French oak barriques (10% new) then matured for 10 months, then fined, filtered and bottled in February 2019. Enjoy now or cellar for 2 to 6 years. $24 bottle / $288 case |

2018 Oakdene Bellarine Peninsula Pinot Noir Bright garnet in colour with a perfumed bouquet of red flowers, dry spice and ripe red fruit notes. Generous mid palate, with ripe red cherry and abundant savoury/spicy notes. Subtle oak and earthy notes are balanced by firm acidity and fine tannin on the finish. Fermented in small open top pots, then matured in mainly seasoned French oak barriques for 11 months. Enjoy now or over the next 2 to 6 years. $24 bottle / $288 case |
