We are so proud to share the news that Oakdene has been selected as one of eight Victorian wineries to be showcased at La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, France, widely regarded as the world’s leading museum dedicated to wine.
Welcoming more than 400,000 visitors each year, the museum offers an immersive exploration of global wine culture, placing Victorian producers in front of an international audience of trade, collectors and enthusiasts.
This two-year partnership, led by Global Victoria and the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions, celebrates the quality and diversity of Victorian wine through 2026, coinciding with the museum’s 10th anniversary.
On show is our current vintage 2021 Bernard’s Cabernet, a blend inspired by the Bordeaux region, and our 2023 Liz's Chardonnay. We’re honoured to stand alongside outstanding peers representing some of Victoria’s most respected regions:
Wineries on show are:
- Oakdene Wines
- Pizzini Wines
- Rathbone Wines (Mount Langi Ghiran and Yering Station)
- Fowles Wines
- Stanton & Killeen
- De Bortoli
- Yeringberg
With more than 700 wineries across 21 distinct regions, wine remains one of Victoria’s great tourism drawcards and a cornerstone of many regional communities.
For us, this is about more than visibility. It’s about representing our region and building meaningful connections beyond Australia.
Thank you for being part of the journey! |
