REVIEWS & RATINGS
95 points - Halliday Wine Companion 2020 - '71% merlot, 16% cabernet franc, 13% cabernet sauvignon. Fine and elegant, the varieties complement each other with redcurrant, plum, cedary spice and pencil shavings amongst the aromas you can pick up on the bouquet, and a suite of similar flavours on the palate. It's long and supple with enough grip to encourage cellaring.'
Toni Patterson, The Real Review, 89 points - Light to medium-bodied with fruit restraint and lively acidity. I enjoy the core of redcurrant and red cherry fruit, plus there's a pleasing subtle hint of roast meat that adds interest. The tannins are fine and in balance, and there's a pleasing coolness to the wine. Impressive fruit clarity, as well as fruit succulence on the finish. Drink 2019–2023
Huon Hooke, The Real Review, 88 points - Deep red colour with a faint purple tint. The bouquet is subdued and cedary, savoury and earthy, the palate lean, sinewy and high in acidity. It's medium-bodied at most, with moderate fruit intensity and doesn't have much fleshy extract. A well-made wine of a lighter, and quite elegant, St Emilion-like style. Drink 2019 - 2027
