Very pale salmon.
Lifted bouquet of summer red berries, spice and orange rind.
Savoury dry palate of red fruits and plum skin, balanced by a pithy texture, and firm acidity driving the finish.
Fruit was pressed into stainless steel tank with minimal skin contact. Fermented at 13 degrees C for 14 days, with lees contact post ferment for 3 months, then fined, filtered, and bottled in August 2022 retaining fresh fruit driven characters and firm acidity.
Best consumed young while expressing the bright fruit driven characters.

RATINGS & REVIEWS
92 points & Red Star Special Value, Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion - An interesting blend of 58/24/18% shiraz/cabernet sauvignon/cabernet merlot, hand picked and whole-bunch pressed. A pale but bright salmon hue. There's a touch of reduction on the nose together with summer red fruits and a touch of spice. The palate is dry and chalky textured, finishing with a refreshing lick of amaro bitterness. A thoughtful and well-priced rosé.
